The Smart Tag™ is a single use, irreversible time and temperature indicator that accurately tracks your product’s cumulative time over the threshold temperature, and comes in 15 different standard response temperatures (but others can be built upon request).
The barcode dynamically changes based on desired time and temperature parameters. No data crunching is required! The Berlinger Mini-tag is a compact, powerful temperature monitor with an LED indicator that displays green for OK and red for ALARM, facilitating rapid responses to temperature changes. It has a three-year operating life, making it ideal for “Last Mile” monitoring on primary and/or secondary packagings.
Key specifications include three individually programmable alarm limits, operation temperatures from -30°C to +60°C, and temperature measurement accuracy within +/- 2%. The device features calibration traceable to international standards upon request and has a memory capacity of 38,000 points. It is powered by a button cell battery and complies with CE, EMC, ROHS, and DO160 standards. The Mini-tag is tamper-proof as it cannot be reset or manipulated without destruction.
Q-tag Quad – WHO PQS E006/015
The Q-tag Quad is a compact, multifunctional temperature indicator for shipping and storage. It can be programmed with four individual alarm limits ranging from -25°C to +50°C. With an easy-to-understand OK/ALARM display and a long service life of up to 5 years, it’s ideal for “last mile” use.
The device operates independently and displays information in a clear, unalterable manner. It’s highly accurate, with calibration traceable to recognized international standards such as SAS and NIST. The Q-tag Quad can be tailored to product and customer needs with up to four different temperature and time alarms. It’s a single-use device, making it cost-effective as no return logistics are needed. The device requires no software or computer to operate, ensuring quick and easy use.
Q-tag CLm – WHO PQS E006/014
The Q-tag CLm is a reliable temperature indicator for shipping and storage, programmable with five individual alarm limits from -25°C to +50°C. A break-off tab provides clear evidence of activation. The device facilitates quick decision-making with precise date and time information displayed. Its long lifespan of up to five years makes it suitable for monitoring the entire cold chain.
Temperature measurement accuracy ranges from +/- 0.5°C to +/- 0.8°C depending on the temperature range. The device can’t be manipulated, reset, or turned off without being destroyed, ensuring data integrity. It conforms to international standards like the RoHS directive, WEEE, and IATA regulations.

VCCM card – WHO PQS E006/004
The affordable chemical indicators can be activated individually by removing the start strip. Each indicator measures only one or a maximum of two temperature limits. They are designed for the following temperature ranges: -15 °C / -4 °C / 0 °C / +5 °C / +10 °C / +10 °C and +34 °C / +26 °C / +31 °C.
Among them, the widely recognized VCCM card stands out as it is equipped with the only indicator capable of measuring two temperatures: 10 °C and +34 °C.
Freeze-tag – WHO PQS E006/007
The Freeze-tag is an electronic temperature indicator designed for monitoring freeze-sensitive goods such as vaccines and dyes during transport and storage. It uses internationally recognized symbols to display the alarm state and has a measuring accuracy of ± 0.3°C.
The Freeze-tag is available in three configurations – YELLOW (alarms after 60 min. below 0°C), ORANGE (alarms after 10 min. below 0°C), and GREEN (alarms after 60 min. below -0.5°C). With an operating life of up to 5 years, it can monitor products throughout their life cycle, from production to storage. These devices are intended for single-use, eliminating the need for return transport. Additionally, they require no software or computer to operate, ensuring quick and easy use.

FreezeSafe temperature indicators provide accurate evidence of a below threshold temperature excursion. This cost-effective solution allows you to add an indicator to every shipment or mount the indicator directly onto the product. The FreezeSafe turns from clear to magenta when the temperature falls below its threshold. A visual check of the indicator alerts the recipient if the temperature has been unacceptably cold.
These self-adhesive labels consist of a series of temperature-sensitive elements sealed between heat-resistant substrates with transparent windows. Each element changes color distinctly as its rated temperature is exceeded. The changes are irreversible, providing a temperature history of the surface being monitored. The labels will not de-laminate when removed for reference and can be attached to an inspection report to serve as a permanent record.
The temperature-sensitive elements are phase-change indicators which use the sharply defined melting points of a series of specially purified organic chemicals to give the unique, high precision, color change effects. Each temperature element uses a different chemical compound and is made separately by applying a coating containing the chemical to a special absorptive paper substrate. When the rated temperature is exceeded, the chemical melts and is absorbed by the substrate, causing a permanent color change. Up to ten elements can be combined together on a single label.
